As you may know, we’ve been looking for volunteers to allow us access to their home to complete a survey to confirm there is sufficient fire separation between flats to prevent a fire from spreading from one flat to another. 

These surveys are needed so that we can correctly scope the planned safety improvement work to your building in early 2026 and ensure your home is safe. 

We really appreciate those who have agreed to allow access to their home so far but unfortunately, we haven’t had enough volunteers to gather the information needed to submit a building control application to the Building Safety Regulator. 

We now need to make a formal request to access your home, under the terms of your tenancy agreement or lease, which requires you to provide access with suitable notice. 

Our consultants, Bailey Partnership, will carry out the survey in your home on Monday 24th November 2025. 

As each survey will vary in length, we can’t provide an allocated time slot for this survey.  

However, if you’re only available at a certain time on this day, please contact Helen Leigh, your Building Safety Manager, who will try her best to make suitable arrangements for you. 

We appreciate how difficult it can be to organise time off work or move personal appointments, so we wanted to ensure we give you as much notice as possible to ensure someone can be home to provide access.
