We are writing to update you following recent fire safety surveys carried out in your building. These surveys looked at the fire stopping between flats, particularly where water and plumbing services pass through floors.  

The results confirmed that improvements are needed to increase fire safety between flats. We are already working on gaining approval from the Building Safety Regulator through a building control application so that this work can be completed.  

As your safety is our priority, while we arrange for the works to be carried out, a Waking Watch will be in place to provide reassurance and ensure you and your neighbours can be evacuated quickly in the unlikely event of a fire.
